Bais Toras Menachem is proud of its full schedule and variety of religious and secular classes. Although our primary purpose is a complete Smicha education, we are dedicated to making sure that all our students are well-rounded individuals with a grasp of what matters in life, as well, having the tools needed to provide for oneself and one’s family in the modern information age. Chassidus (8:30 am)
In this fast-paced and high-tech era, people find themselves more connected yet more distant than ever before. BTM is proud to offer a refreshing course every morning to arouse the soul and help our students connect with what really matters in life.
Gemara (11:00 am)
The Talmud is an essential part of the Jewish tradition. For millennia it has been the bedrock of all Jewish legal and theological debate. As the last universally accepted Jewish text, it is important to be well versed in its grammar and expressions. This class is taught by Rabbi Shneck. This course is college accredited.
Hilchos Shabbos (11:00 am)
Learning the big and small details of Hilchos Shabbos. Taught by Rabbi Heideseim. This course is college accredited.
TTI Study Hall (12:00 pm)
A college level education is a must in today’s workplace and we have you covered. TTI is a regionally accredited program that gives you the tools and information you need while not sacrificing your Jewish lifestyle. To download all the relevant documents from them click here. Semicha (1:00 pm)
Semicha is the cornerstone of reaching Jewish adulthood. A full and comprehensive two-year study of all the day to day laws which govern the life of a Jewish home. This is something every Jewish man, whether he fits the mold or not, should get. This class is given by HaRav Levi Chazan.
TTI English (3:30 pm)
Communication skills are one of the most important skills to have. And being that English is the language of business around the world, we have a dedicated course to its mastery. This course is college accredited.
TTI Mathematics (4:30 pm)
We here at BTM focus on the useful mathematics they gloss over in high school. Concepts such as ratios and probability are some of the most useful things a person can learn. This class is taught by Rabbi Hertzi Richler. This course is college accredited.
TTI Jewish History and Philosophy (5:45 pm)
Knowing and understanding where you come from is a great help to understanding the road ahead. BTM offers a full course in both the historical roots of our past as well as the lessons we can learn from them. This class is taught by Rabbi Aryeh Hoffman. This course is college accredited.
Night Seder (8:30)
Everyone needs time to wind down. At BTM we do our best to make that time productive. On Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays we provide spiritual refreshments with a farbrengen by none other than our own Rabbi Zalman Friedman or other special guests. On Mondays, we have MMA and fitness classes with R. Yossi Eilfort. And on Wednesdays we go to Friendship Circle of Los Angeles, to be volunteers at their Basketball Club.

Safrus and Shechita (8:30)
We also offer courses in Safrus and Shechita for students with that extra drive.
